Daniel Meakin’s paintings are a fusion of contour, colour, collage, and composition, conjuring up a visual, sometimes fantastical narrative.
Daniel has been creating and selling his paintings since the age of 15.
In 1999 he was awarded the MA in European Fine Art in Barcelona, where he continued to work as a professional fine artist, until he relocated to Wirral, UK, in 2022.
Incorporating mixed media such as fabric, magazine cuttings, and swatches of wallpaper, Daniel’s work involves the layering of collage, creating and exploring a visual tapestry of composition, contour, texture, and colour.

During the last year Daniel has held pop up exhibitions in Liverpool, Berlin, and now here in Space A, Barcelona.
He also has an ongoing series of public live painting performances across Europe, using upcycling discarded furniture. These events allow him to interact with the spectator and the spectator to witness his working process – making art inclusive and accessible to all.
Daniel sells paintings internationally in art fairs, solo/collective exhibitions, custom-made commissions, and to private collectors in locations such as Paris, London, Miami, San Francisco, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Sydney, and Tel Aviv.
